I grew up on the bow of a sailboat with my dad at the helm. I like to think that sailing is in my blood, and it's gotten passed down to my kiddos. We love to be on the water, it's that place that feels more like home than the land does. Every year we pack up the campers, teddy bears, and lifejackets and head to Bayfield WI for a week of sailboat races, campfires, and lots of laughs. It's our yearly home away from home.
